We Still Need to Party.

HARDFEST 2008

A Dose of HARD Madddnesss.

HARDFEST this summer was insane. The performers rocked both stages and the energy was ridiculous. DJ Squeak E. Clean started off the night at the main stage. Dj Felli Fel did his thing mixin' everything from Old School hip hop to JUSTICE. Spank Rock with the lovely Amanda Blank give us a provocative show. N.E.R.D. got the crowd going crazy' with their "Spazz" number and then got some ladies up the stage. From then on, Everyone Nose it's gonna be a good night. MSTRKRFT, brought out the plasma and spun some dope beats for us Electro maniacs. Special guests, N.O.R.E. stopped by and joined the duos for two performances of B.O.U.N.C.E. The Bloody Beetroots (whom I've been dying to see) dropped a killer set, spinning everything from their new EP Tracks to Daft Punk. The energy, crowd, lighting...everything was mind-blowing .
hipster hunter?
http://hipsterhunter.com/IV.html
it's basically a bunch of portmanteaux combining an offensive word with the word "hipster".
what is up with the hatred toward these quote, unquote hipsters? this movement seemed to have started about 5 years ago, and it seems is only growing.
why all put all this attention and energy forth toward people that you supposedly loathe?
seems back-ass-ward, if you ask me.
well, anyway, if you're into hipster-hating as much as the next hipster, check out the website; it's sure to get at least a chuckle outta ya.

Hard, The Aftermath

The Dark knizzle
extraordinary acting as I would like. I went to arclight aka the
american academy of dramatic arts the scientology edition to catch up
on movies. I checked out the dark knight props after I sobbed my way
through sex and the city to feel more like a woman and less like 12
year old emotional wreck and I thought why even bother putting all the
batman stuff because everyone is here for the joker. Then I heard 3
50 year old women squealing about "I can't believe christian Bale sat
on this" and I realized someone cares about Batman. It could have been
a nonsexual comment but having my mind in the gutter made me take it
in the wrong way and almost vomit up some of the 10 dollar ice cream
bar in my mouth... So my point is go see The Dark Knight, I guess?
What happens backstage....
really goes on.... Evidently lots of waiting, chain smoking, empty
cups and legs..

MTV News online YO!

America's getting to know what really goes on in LA during the week. Being Resident Sunday DJ at LAX, Steve and AM are known for hosting "Banana Split Sundaes," which features different up and coming as well as heavyweight artists like Kid Sister, Spank Rock, MSTRKRFT, and Diplo. Now, we all know what goes down in LA with Tuesdays at Cinespace and Sundays at LAX, and now MTV gives everyone a dose of the Dim Mak culture.
Steve Aoki, DJ AM and MSTRKRFT
Crowded club, world renowned European DJ’s, celebrity tables, hipster-clad socialites and a lot of black leggings were the perfect ingredients to my weekend night out in Hollywood. But Sunday nights at famed Los Angeles night club LAX have an unconventional vibe to go with the unconventional party night. They are probably the furthest you can get from a day of rest. Resident Sunday night DJ, Steve Aoki let me in on how he and club owner Adam Goldstein, otherwise known as DJ AM, run their indie-rock “Banana-Split Sundae “nights. “If you wear Ed Hardy, you won’t get in! This club is built for bottles and models and on Sundays we turn it into something different. Entrance is free and we just do our thing.” Aoki exclaimed. “We’ve had all kinds of guests like Kid Sister, Mickey Avalon, Diplo, Spank Rock and tonight’s MSTRKRFT”

tattoos dont come off in the shower
costco pack of lemonheads
If I was the grass, would you mow your lawn?
If I was your body, would you still wear clothes?
If I was a booger, would you blow your nose?
Would you keep it? would you eat it?
Im just tryin to give myself a reason, for being around.
If I was the front porch swing would you let me hang?
If I was the dance floor would you shake your thing?
If I was a rubber check would you let me bounce
Up and down inside your bank account?
Would ya trust me, not to break you?
Im just tryin really hard to make you,
Notice me being around.
If I was a haircut would you wear a hat?
If I was a maid, could I clean your flat?
If I was the carpet would ya wipe your feet,
In time to save me from mud off the street?
If you like me, if you love me,
Why dont you get down on your knees
And scrub me?
Im a little grubby
From being around.
